The Dogwatch

A second daily campaign with seven new captains, weekly chests for clearing either daily, and better chests for everyone.
The Dogwatch
Members now have a second daily campaign. When the day is done and the watch changes, a different sort puts to sea.
A judge who takes every shot fired at him as evidence. A surgeon who stitches his flagship back together between broadsides. Twin brothers on one galleon, who fire twice. A press-gang captain who never runs out of sloops. Seven of them, one a day, each fighting like nobody else on the water.
Each drops two pieces of gear of their own.
A member can take any friend along. Captains without a membership can sail the Dogwatch as a guest twice a week, and they get everything a member gets.
The Chest Between Waves

Eight BellsEquipmentEight bells ends a watch. Fresh hands on deck, fresh hands on the guns.
The Log LineEquipmentKnotted every forty-seven feet and paid out astern. Nobody ran a truer course.
Night TelescopeEquipmentMade for seeing what the dark is hiding.
Halfway through every Dogwatch run, three closed chests. Open one.
Inside is something to keep and something for the rest of the run: double-shotted guns, fresh caulking, marksmen in the tops. Everyone in the run gets their own chest.
Now and then one holds a piece found nowhere else. Eight Bells. The Log Line. A telescope made for seeing what the dark is hiding.
Five Days a Week
Black Flag ChestChestPaid out for clearing the Black Flag five days in a week. Stores, rare materials, and now and then something found nowhere else.
Watchkeeper's ChestChestPaid out for standing the Dogwatch five days in a week. Academy materials by the handful, a Sack of Crowns, and once in a long while a captain's face.
The daily campaign is now the Black Flag. Clear it five days in a week and the fifth clear pays a Black Flag Chest.
Stores, rare materials every time, and once in a long while one of three pieces you will not find anywhere else.
The ArticlesEquipmentEvery hand signed, and every hand got his share. The ones who argued got it over the side.
MarlinspikeEquipmentA rigger's tool for opening a knot. Opens other things as well.
The Burial HoopEquipmentGold enough to pay for a burial. Its owner never needed one.
Five days of the Dogwatch pays a Watchkeeper's Chest. Academy materials by the handful and a Sack of Crowns. Once in a long while, one of the seven Dogwatch captains, to sail as your own.
Every Chest
Supply CrateChestA basic supply crate. Common resources, and now and then a gemstone.
Iron ChestChestA reinforced iron chest. Gemstones, rare materials, and now and then a dye or a blueprint.
Gold ChestChestA gilded chest. Always a gemstone, rare materials likely, dyes and blueprints possible.
Treasure HoardChestA legendary hoard. A handful of gemstones, rare materials, and a one in four chance of a blueprint.
Chests now pay by the size of your biggest port. A Gold Chest for a captain with a big harbour now pays thousands.
Chests now carry more materials: naval stores, salvage and fish materials. Gold Chests and Treasure Hoards can now turn up Grave Iron and Admiralty Brass.
